APM = Africa Partners Medical
Africa Partners Medical (APM) is a group of American and African doctors, nurses and other health care professionals committed to improving medical care in Africa. APM does so by sponsoring educational conferences in Africa and establishing long-term partnerships with indigenous African health care personnel.
As members of the Gustavus Chapter of APM, we will work with APM personnel in Ghana to help coordinate our trip and make it most effective and successful. The health of Ghanaians is in the hands of the health care personnel from Ghana, and we endeavor to make them as effective as possible by supporting continuing education and donating equipment and supplies.
